Shawn Kelly
Shawn Kelly has worked over thirty years in the manufacturing industry at STELCO in Hamilton. Throughout the years he gained vast experience and knowledge in Health and Safety. After retiring, Shawn went on to become a Health and Safety Specialist; consulting and training, while still furthering his education in this area.
Leadership roles in the Minor Hockey League; Toastmasters and within the Harley Owner's Group H.O.G. (Motorcycling) have given him a passion for teaching others the skills of leadership, coaching and mentoring.
One of his charges in Minor Hockey was Kevin Bieksa, now playing for the Vancouver Canucks. Shawn has developed a passion for working with youth; guiding them, mentoring them, motivating them on life's challenges, team spirit, and integrity.
A dedicated member of Toastmasters International, he has become known as an exciting, entertaining, and humorous Master of Ceremonies. Shawn has a natural wit, a strong ability to organize, and a powerful voice to keep any event on track.
Shawn is presently part of the ‘Monthly Mentor ProgramTM'; .a mentorship program with Raymond Aaron, Co-author of "Chicken Soup for the Canadian Soul". An avid learner, he is building more knowledge and skills to help his audiences to find their own success.

Shawn excels at communicating with youth. He is able to talk to them and lead them in a positive manner. In this presentation he guides them through the trials and tribulations of a world where there are ups and downs, obstacles, and a need to understand right from wrong.. He will inspire them to celebrate their uniqueness and love who they are right now.
Overcoming Addiction – The Power is Within You
Shawn Kelly, who openly admits to overcoming his own demons; street drugs, prescription drugs, alcohol, and tobacco; shares his personal journey with his audience. He has created a plan of action to help others take the steps to freedom. Starting with accepting their reality; identifying the root cause(s); creating a clear vision and goals for the future; and finally knowing in their heart why they want to do it; this plan will move them to action. Participants will journey from the darkness of the clouds to a brilliant clear sky.
